Verification is a very important part of diagnosis when trying to solve any type of problem. Take for instance, a Technologist says “The machine just powered down on its own”, or “It works fine until I try to use the Doppler, then it locks up”. As a technician, you first need to verify that the symptoms reported are accurate. If they are, first instinct is to head straight to the power supply. Our technical support staff has provided system voltage test points (all voltages must be within 2% to 5% tolerance), each supply has a potentiometer to adjust voltage within its tolerance limit.
